A money box for coin donations to Frontier Services will be placed near the stewards table from next Sunday 7th August until Sunday 18th September and anyone who has spare coins is welcome to donate it by putting it in the money box.  Also a special morning tea will be held after church on Sunday 18th Sept to also raise money for Frontier Services.

The Visit of Bishop Dilo Canagasabey

The Northmead Tamil Congregation invite you to hear the Rt. Rev Dilo Canagasabey the Bishop of Colombo and his wife Harshi, who will be speaking about the church in Sri Lanka and the ongoing response to the political situation there.

The date is August 16th Tuesday morning from 9.00 – 12.00 noon, and the venue will be Northmead UC, 3-7, Hammers Road, Northmead and morning tea will be provided.

Parramatta-Nepean Presbytery Adult Fellowship Gathering

You are invited to the Annual Presbytery Gathering to be held on Saturday 23rd July at Quakers Hill Uniting Church. The day commences with morning tea at 10am followed by a service at 10.45. Women’s Retreat Day: Galston & West Epping Uniting Church

West Epping Uniting Church are hosting a Women’s Retreat Day at Galston UC on Saturday 28th May, from 9.30am – 3.30pm.

The Retreat will be led by Jill Robertson and will be a ‘time where you can connect with other women, grow in your faith, share with others in a safe place, loving, laughing and learning together’. Cost is $35 and includes morning tea, lunch and craft material.

Cumberland Zone Meeting

Please come and hear from Cobar Nyngan Patrol Minister, Rev Jo Smalbil, about her work and how the church might be able to support Rural and Remote Ministry into the future. This is to ensure some stability not only for the people in the bush, but for those who live thousands of kilometres from family and friends in order to deliver that service.

The meeting will be on Wednesday 24 February, 1.00pm – 3.00pm at Greystanes Uniting Church. BYO lunch, but tea and coffee provided.
