Everest Sea to Summit

This award-winning film is being screened at PLC Sydney, Meta St, Croydon on Saturday, 27 June at 2pm.

The film traces the journey of Tim McCartney-Snape, as he climbs the entire length of Mt Everest, starting at sea level in the Bay of Bengal, walking across India and finishing with a solo, unsupported ascent of the world’s highest peak without bottled oxygen.

The film was made by renowned documentary-maker Michael Dillon, founding director of the Australian Himalayan Foundation and all proceeds from the screening will go towards rebuilding the Himaganga School and Village in Nepal which were destroyed in the recent earthquake.

Tickets are $15 or $5 concession, available at the door from 1.30pm.
