CHRISTMAS BOWL APPEAL

The Christmas Bowl is the Christmas Appeal of Act For Peace, the international aid agency of the National Council of Churches in Australia. Envelopes will be available for donations to the Christmas Bowl at our Christmas Eve and Christmas Day services. This year, your gifts will help support Act for Peace’s work with communities around the world affected by conflict and disaster.
This includes:
• Providing lifesaving medical treatment for families in India who don’t have access to basic healthcare.
• Providing skills-based training to refugees in Ethiopia to give them financial independence and build their self-esteem.
• Helping vulnerable women in Jordan through their pregnancies by providing emotional support through mother’s groups.
• Providing disaster preparedness kits to families in Vanuatu, the world’s most at-risk country for natural disasters.
• Providing emergency food, water and shelter for the Rohingya people.
• And so much more!
