At our last Mission Planning Day we agreed to support 3 activities, Samaritan’s Purse, Godly Play and Community Engagement. Please remember to put your name on the list in the foyer to indicate which project you would like to be involved in.
North Rocks UC are having an Encounter Youth Camp, at Kiah Ridge Conference Centre on 17-19 June. It is open to young people in years 7-12 and Uni-aged young adults 18-21.
Quakers Hill UC are having a LEGO Competition & Display on Saturday 25th June.
Penrith UC Singers present a MidWinter Concert on Sunday 19 June from 2pm. Entry donation of $10 goes to support the community work at Bidwill Uniting Church.

Now that the election has been announced for July 2nd we will be taking the opportunity once again to raise some funds for the church.
The Child Care Centre will be organising a Cake Stall and proceeds will go to the church.
If anyone would like to donate cakes for the stall, please bring them along on the day and give them to Kylie or one of the Child Care Centre staff.
A Sausage Sandwich Stall will be organized as well, selling sausage sandwiches and drinks and anyone wishing to donate toward the cost of meat etc, please see Trevor.
Castle Hill Wesley Uniting Church will be hosting a community forum to meet the candidates in the Federal seat of Mitchell for the up-coming election. It will be held on Tuesday 14th June at Wesley, 32 Showground Rd, commencing at 7.30pm. The format will include brief personal addresses for the candidates followed by a ‘Q & A” style open forum moderated by Rev Greg Woolnough. A light supper will be provided at the conclusion where people can mingle with the candidates.
The forum is designed to enable the electors in the seat of Mitchell to hear about the candidates as they share both their own backgrounds and passions and how these translate to their policies.

Guardian Funerals invite you to join them for Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea on Thursday 26th May at 1 First Ave Blacktown, commencing at 9.30am. More details are on the flyer on the noticeboard.
West Epping Uniting Church are hosting a Women’s Retreat Day at Galston UC on Saturday 28th May, from 9.30am – 3.30pm.
The Retreat will be led by Jill Robertson and will be a ‘time where you can connect with other women, grow in your faith, share with others in a safe place, loving, laughing and learning together’. Cost is $35 and includes morning tea, lunch and craft material.
