Lent Event 2015: Resources

Lent Event is UnitingWorld’s call on the church to be a loving, active community. Our shared aim is to see people living out a practical faith that is part of and witness to God’s mission in the world. Join this growing movement for the 40 days of Lent through shared worship, study, prayer and simple living. And, by giving up something you’d struggle to do without and donating the money saved, you’ll help break the poverty cycle for some of the world’s most vulnerable people.

Election Day: Upcoming Fete on March 28, 2015

Election day is the one time we, as a Church community, can work together to raise funds for our Church. A form is available for you to complete to indicate your availability to work on the day. Please return the completed form to Neva Gregory or place in the basket provided on the round table in the foyer.

Should you be unable to assist, you may prefer to give a cash donation to go towards the purchase of sausages, bread, drinks etc. If you wish to participate in this way, please give your donation to our Treasurer, Trevor Smith, Norm Johnson or Neva.

Donating items to sell on the craft, cake and book stalls is another way you can help to make this event a success. Please indicate this on the forms available from the church office.
